The Kat Von D Shade & Light palette is one of my favorites. It has 3 contour colors and 3 highlight powder shades. I usually go for the two middle shades because they are my favorite ones. It also has a great mirror with the palette!
This Mascara is my favorite drugstore mascara. Its the Maybelline Rocket Mascara. Its a great mascara that makes your lashes very large and thick looking! Its about $11 at the drugstore and is defiantly worth it!
Today I'm sharing a few of my favorite makeup products of 2015! As 2015 comes to a close I just wanted to share a few of my fav products. So, starting off with mascara. I talked about my favorite drugstore mascara up above but my favorite high end mascara is the Tarte Lights, Camera, Lashes. I love the packaging and the formula of the product! For blushes both of them are high end. The tarte blush in captivating and this Clinique blush are two of my favs! They both are not to pigmented, which is nice because I like to be able to layer on how much color I like. My favorite foundation has been the Covergirl Outlasting foundation. I'm in the color classic ivory and its the perfect color for me. I also like to use a concealer underneath my eyes. So my favorite has been the Maybelline Age Rewind. Its pretty high coverage and it doesn't look caked. After I apply those face products I like to set it with a powder. I have been loving the Rimmel Stay Matte Powder this year. Its not only a great product but it is also super cheap! Like $4! Which is awesome. Lastly for the lips. My fav liner is the MAC liner in subculture. Its a nude color so it goes with almost every lip product. I like to put it with my all time favorite lipstick EVER. Like EVER. It's the Maybelline lipstick in Born with it. Its a great color, formula, and it is very moisturizing! I would defiantly try these products if you are looking for a new foundation, blush, mascara or lip product! Hope you enjoyed this post and Happy New Year! - Amber CHECK OUT MY YOUTUBE VIDEO ON MY FAV PRODUCTS OF '15
Today I'm sharing the pictures from my trip to London! London is a beautiful city with tons to see. We only had 36 hours in London so we hit up all the main places we could. We saw Buckingham Palace, The London Eye, Westminster, and Big Ben. Our hotel was actually right next to the eye so we rode it during the day. It was so nice to be able to see all of London from high up. I loved it! All of the main monuments that I said are all in walking distance of each other. Buckingham Palace is a little far but its not to far. At night we took the long walk across the bridge to do a little shopping and have dinner at Covent Gardens. Covent Gardens is really nice. It has many shops and restaurants all outdoors. Since we had so little time in London I didn't get to see the little things in the city like I would have wanted to see. But theres always next time. Haha. I really hope to go back to the UK sometime before I die. If you are planning a trip to London I would absolutely recommend all of these places to visit. You won't regret it. We left London on a train to Paris which was awesome cause we got to see some of the English country side during the train ride. Overall, London was a great city to visit! Have a great day and thanks so much for reading! - Amber
This summer my Mom and I took a trip to Paris, France. And I'm so glad we went! It was a gorgeous city and was everything I hoped it would be. We spent around 5 days in the city of Paris. We saw all of the major monuments and tourist spots such as the Eiffel Tower, Champs Elysees, Luxembourg Palace and Notre Dame. On top of seeing all of those places we did a lot of shopping. Paris is the fashion capitol on the world so we knew that we wanted to do a lot of shopping while we were there. Our hotel was located about 2 blocks over from the Champs Elysees so there was a lot of shops near by. My favorite place, besides the Eiffel Tower, was Luxembourg Palace. It was amazing! The building itself was so grand and the grounds around it were just as nice! Luxembourg Palace is located near the Latin District so we walked right over to find TONS of people laying out on the grounds. There was table tennis, tennis, a cafe and tons of other stuff going on around the palace. I feel so blessed to be able to go to this amazing city! If you are able to go, check these places out! They were so fun! Have a great day and thanks for reading! -Amber
Today I'm sharing my Self-Tanning Routine. I was never into self tanning until this fall/winter. I usually get tan during the summer and then get pale (and when I say pale...I mean PALE) in the winter. I never liked being pale so this fall I looked into some self tanning products. The one I have discovered and now LOVE is the Look Good Naked self tanning towelettes. Love them. They come in full body towelettes and half body towelettes. I prefer to buy the package with 2 full body and 2 half body. I've tried both several times and personally like applying the half body towelettes better. They just give more color. So I start off by showering. In the shower I shave and exfoliate. I will have all the products I use down below. After I've showered I use the towelette. After self tanner is applied I let it dry, which usually takes about 15 minutes. The tanner takes about 2-4 hours to develop the tan. Now when I say tan, I mean "glow". If your looking for a tanner that gives you a dark beach tan, then this tanner isn't for you. Or you just have to apply more. I live in a place where being super tan is not normal and I just don't want to look sickly pale. So this is what I use! I love it! After that I use the Up & Up Target brand self tanner lotion. This basically just helps the tanner stay longer and enhance it. And thats it! You have a nice holiday glow!
